
The Wiesmann GT MF4-CS will be on the road. Immediately after the world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show, the sports car will visit a few regional Wiesmann outlets over the course of a roadshow in Germany and Switzerland.

The Sports cars manufacturer Wiesmann from Dülmen presents a world premiere at the international motor show in Geneva. The Wiesmann GT MF4-CS is the club sport version of the Wiesmann GT MF4-S and will be available in a limited edition run of 25 cars. Thanks to an uncompromising approach to weight reduction and pure performance-oriented racing elements, it offers unprecedented opportunities for achieving the best times on racetracks around the world – but of course, the GT MF4-CS also cuts a good figure on curvy country roads.
St. Moritz, Spa-Francorchamps, Mille Miglia, 24 hours of Le Mans, Route des Grandes Alps, Bilster Berg - At the beginning of the sports cars year 2013, Wiesmann has published the appointments for incomparable events. Next to the discovery of the best asphalt pieces of the world, there are present real classics and legends of the autosport in the unique schedule.
112,877 readers of "auto motor und sport" have chosen out of 373 models. The Wiesmann GT ("sports cars") and the Wiesmann Roadster ("convertibles") were at choice for the first time! Despite strong competition we could place our cars within the top-ten in both categories. The Wiesmann GT ranked 6th place in sports cars and the Wiesmann Roadster was voted 9th in the category of convertibles.
As part of the International Race Days in Steinfurt the Wiesmann GmbH from the Westphalian Dülmen was honored from the German association of automotive heritage e.V.
The manufacturer of sports cars Wiesmann presented itself together with Michelin at the legendary Goodwood Festival of Speed, introducing the Wiesmann Roadster MF3 in the Michelin VIP area. Traditionally the race starts with a driver’s parade in the centre of Le Mans, which is a highlight for all fans of the event. As one of Michelin’s super cars Wiesmann has had the privilege to close the parade with its Roadster MF3.

The sports car manufacturer Wiesmann reaches again the winner’s podium at this year's sport auto awarding. More than 12.000 readers of the specialist journal voted Wiesmann MF5 Roadster in the category of convertibles over 130,000 Euro on the 3rd place. Thus, the hand-made sports car from the Munster area is on the winning side next to the Ferrari 458 Spider (2nd place) and the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet (1st place).

During the Race of Champions, which took place on 3 and 4 December, more than 35,000 visitors watched the world’s best racing drivers battle it out on an indoor track inside the Esprit Arena in Düsseldorf. Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel were able to win the Nations Cup again, while rally ace Sébastian Ogier won the actual Race of Champions. In addition to the race, the supercar parade organised by Michelin also caused a lot of excitement. The parade of exclusive sports cars included the Wiesmann GT MF5, which really got the audience going with its 555 hp engine.

Motor replacement at the Dülmen sports car manufactory. Starting in the new year, Wiesmann will be banking on BMW twin turbo technology for their model series MF4 and MF5. The Wiesmann GT and Roadster MF4 and MF5 can now be ordered with the new engine types. These engines will be stronger and more agile, while working more efficiently and economically than their predecessors. Top priority in the selection of these new engines went to what Wiesmann is all about: unlimited driving fun.
Special honour for the sports cars manufacturer Wiesmann: The Wiesmann campaign from the year 2009 was awarded a silver lion at this year’s International Advertising Festival in Cannes. The award was given for the project ‘Build A Car – Wiesmann builds a car at the IAA in Frankfurt’, which was realized by the manufacturer along with the agencies Faktor 3 from Hamburg and Living Concept from Münster.

A ranking announced every other year by the economy-week and the Munic brand-agency Brand Rating, shows that the sportscar factory Wiesmann has increased from a good 7th place to an even better result of a 5th place

The Wiesmann Roadster MF3 is placed second in readers’ choice award of German automotive magazine sport auto and is thus one of the most sportive cars 2009. In the category for convertibles and roadsters up to 120,000 Euro, the Roadster MF3 won 22.3 percent among the three most-mentioned vehicles.
Wiesmann presented itself as part of the high performance sport car series FIA GT. The Dülmen based sports car manufacturer is providing vehicles to act as the official safety car for the eight races of this year’s championship

Like all Wiesmann sports cars, the Roadster MF4 is built entirely by hand.
