Roadshow: Presentation of the GT MF4-CS
The Wiesmann GT MF4-CS will be on the road. Immediately after the world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show, the sports car will visit a few regional Wiesmann outlets over the course of a roadshow in Germany and Switzerland.
World premiere in Geneva: Wiesmann GT MF4-CS
The Sports cars manufacturer Wiesmann from Dülmen presents a world premiere at the international motor show in Geneva. The Wiesmann GT MF4-CS is the club sport version of the Wiesmann GT MF4-S and will be available in a limited edition run of 25 cars. Thanks to an uncompromising approach to weight reduction and pure performance-oriented racing elements, it offers unprecedented opportunities for achieving the best times on racetracks around the world – but of course, the GT MF4-CS also cuts a good figure on curvy country roads.

St. Moritz, Spa-Francorchamps, Mille Miglia, 24 hours of Le Mans, Route des Grandes Alps, Bilster Berg - At the beginning of the sports cars year 2013, Wiesmann has published the appointments for incomparable events. Next to the discovery of the best asphalt pieces of the world, there are present real classics and legends of the autosport in the unique schedule.

112,877 readers of "auto motor und sport" have chosen out of 373 models. The Wiesmann GT ("sports cars") and the Wiesmann Roadster ("convertibles") were at choice for the first time! Despite strong competition we could place our cars within the top-ten in both categories. The Wiesmann GT ranked 6th place in sports cars and the Wiesmann Roadster was voted 9th in the category of convertibles.
Wiesmann was honored as „Automobiles Kulturgut“
As part of the International Race Days in Steinfurt the Wiesmann GmbH from the Westphalian Dülmen was honored from the German association of automotive heritage e.V.
Wiesmann at the Goodwood Festival of Speed
The manufacturer of sports cars Wiesmann presented itself together with Michelin at the legendary Goodwood Festival of Speed, introducing the Wiesmann Roadster MF3 in the Michelin VIP area. Furthermore, the 555 HP strong Wiesmann GT MF5 and selected super sport cars from the Michelin Supercar Paddock were able to overcome twice in one day the most famous hill in the South of England in front of a cheering crowd.
Wiesmann and Michelin in Le Mans
The manufacturer of sport cars Wiesmann and Michelin competed together at this year’s greatest and toughest endurance race, commonly known as the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Traditionally the race starts with a driver’s parade in the centre of Le Mans, which is a highlight for all fans of the event. As one of Michelin’s super cars Wiesmann has had the privilege to close the parade with its Roadster MF3.
Wiesmann honoured by a German Federal State
In the context of the “Germany at its best: North-Rhine-Westphalia” location based marketing campaign, the Wiesmann GmbH was honoured as the “leading German manufactory for purist and individual sports cars”. Since the foundation of the Wiesmann GmbH in 1988, the company is a staple in the luxury segment for automobiles and inspires sports car fans all over the world.
sport auto-Award honors Wiesmann Roadster MF5
The sports car manufacturer Wiesmann reaches again the winner’s podium at this year's sport auto awarding. More than 12.000 readers of the specialist journal voted Wiesmann MF5 Roadster in the category of convertibles over 130,000 Euro on the 3rd place. Thus, the hand-made sports car from the Munster area is on the winning side next to the Ferrari 458 Spider (2nd place) and the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet (1st place).
Dr. Rolf Haferkamp named as new managing director
Dr. Rolf Haferkamp is the new managing director of Wiesmann GmbH. The 50-year-old will take over the responsibilities of Friedhelm Wiesmann and look after the business interests of the sports car manufacturer, while Martin Wiesmann continues to be responsible for the development and production.
Friedhelm Wiesmann opens Wiesmann Alps
As part of the further expansion of the sports car manufacturer Wiesmann in Dülmen, company founder Friedhelm Wiesmann has decided to take charge himself of the set-up of a company base in one of Germany’s most important locations, namely Munich.

Wiesmann at the Race of Champions
During the Race of Champions, which took place on 3 and 4 December, more than 35,000 visitors watched the world’s best racing drivers battle it out on an indoor track inside the Esprit Arena in Düsseldorf. Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel were able to win the Nations Cup again, while rally ace Sébastian Ogier won the actual Race of Champions. In addition to the race, the supercar parade organised by Michelin also caused a lot of excitement. The parade of exclusive sports cars included the Wiesmann GT MF5, which really got the audience going with its 555 hp engine.
Wiesmann ranks among the leading luxury brands
The sports car manufacturer Wiesmann counts already for the third time in a row amongst the leading ranks in luxury cars, as has been announced recently by the Wirtschaftswoche. The eminent sixth rank leads to happiness and satisfaction in the eyes of the brand Wiesmann: “We are very satisfied that our comparably small enterprise was able to establish itself that well and successful amongst the top brands during the last years”, expresses CEO Friedhelm Wiesmann.

Wiesmann Roadster MF4-S is "Sports car of the year"
The readers’ choice of the magazine Auto Bild Sportscars set the Wiesmann Roadster MF4-S to the pole position. The Roadster from the German manufactory won the award in the “small volume” category. Over 68,000 readers and Internet users voted winners in 17 categories.
Opening "Wiesmann Oman"

The evolution of dynamics: new twin turbo engines
Motor replacement at the Dülmen sports car manufactory. Starting in the new year, Wiesmann will be banking on BMW twin turbo technology for their model series MF4 and MF5. The Wiesmann GT and Roadster MF4 and MF5 can now be ordered with the new engine types. These engines will be stronger and more agile, while working more efficiently and economically than their predecessors. Top priority in the selection of these new engines went to what Wiesmann is all about: unlimited driving fun.
Wiesmann campaign wins the silver lion in Cannes
Special honour for the sports cars manufacturer Wiesmann: The Wiesmann campaign from the year 2009 was awarded a silver lion at this year’s International Advertising Festival in Cannes. The award was given for the project ‘Build A Car – Wiesmann builds a car at the IAA in Frankfurt’, which was realized by the manufacturer along with the agencies Faktor 3 from Hamburg and Living Concept from Münster.

The sports car manufacturer Wiesmann has achieved high recognition at this year´s Brand Award from the magazine absatzwirtschaft. Wiesmann was one of three finalists in the category “Best New Brand”.

Wiesmann nomination for the PR Report Award 2010
The idea: Two Wiesmann workers build exclusive and unique a Wiesmann sports car in front of the IAA audience in Frankfurt during the period from 15. to 27. September. IAA world premiere: the Wiesmann Roadster MF5
Wiesmann, the luxury sports car maker, will be presenting an absolutely stunning example of its hand-crafted sports car range - the Wiesmann Roadster MF5 - to visitors at the 63rd International Motor Show in Frankfurt. The Wiesmann Roadster MF5 takes even experienced sports car enthusiasts into a brand new dimension of driving enjoyment, delivering a top speed of 310 km/h and completing the sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. This exclusive open-air experience will only be available to a select few because the spirited power package is only being produced in a limited edition of 55 sports cars.

A ranking announced every other year by the economy-week and the Munic brand-agency Brand Rating, shows that the sportscar factory Wiesmann has increased from a good 7th place to an even better result of a 5th place
Roadster MF3 ranked second in readers’ choice award
The Wiesmann Roadster MF3 is placed second in readers’ choice award of German automotive magazine sport auto and is thus one of the most sportive cars 2009. In the category for convertibles and roadsters up to 120,000 Euro, the Roadster MF3 won 22.3 percent among the three most-mentioned vehicles.
Wiesmann provides safety car for FIA GT series
Wiesmann presented itself as part of the high performance sport car series FIA GT. The Dülmen based sports car manufacturer is providing vehicles to act as the official safety car for the eight races of this year’s championship

This new model makes an impressive addition to the Wiesmann Company's range of soft-top sports cars. A completely new car has been born with the Wiesmann Roadster MF4, which is now available alongside the classic Wiesmann Roadster MF3. Like all Wiesmann sports cars, the Roadster MF4 is built entirely by hand.
